ITANAGAR, MAY 28 : The Heema Hospital ( a multi specialty health care institution) of state located in city celebrated its 16th foundation day in betting manner with daylong programme. The Minister for Sports, Youths Affairs, Environment & Forest, and WRD Mama Natung has laude the hospital in providing the health care service to lakhs of people of state.
Addressing the foundation day celebration ceremony, the Sports Minister Mama Natung said that it is a happy moment that the hospital has been doing it service to the people of state. in providing health care facilities. Health care facilities and infrastructure instate in improving. Private parties is also coming up and creating infrastructure and it is a good sign of development in the field of health care system. He said.
I have visited the various department of the hospital and find that several machines and equipments, MRI, CT Scan and other necessary required items are available and these add to the up-gradation of the health care system with technology. He said.
“ we regard the doctors as ext to god” so they should also take care of the patients with extra care so that the patient feel happy and cured with smile. Added Minister Natung.
Director of health services, Dr. M Lego attended as guest of honour while Capital Deputy Commissioner Talo Potom, Director fo geology and mining Tassar Tallar was special guest on the occasion.
Speaking to media, CMD Dr. Byabang Rana said around 9 lakh patient have been treated in OPD, we have performed around 20 thousand operation including plastic surgery, major, super specialty operation cardiac, more than Ten thousand five hundred live delivery has been done in last 16 years, around forty thousand has been treated in IPD as of now. He said.
Medical sconce has been changing with time passage and accordingly the Heema Hospital is also upgrading as per time and need. We have more programmes of up gradation in near future including ICU, new OPD block with specified for park and facility of lift will also add to the needs of the patient. Added Dr Rana adding that Dr Rana assure to provide one of the best medical care facility and sought support of all as take holders for smooth delivery of health care facilities to the people of state.
Medical Suptd, Dr Kesang Thogdok inform that the parking problem has almost been resolve with separate parking in front of the hospital and in the adjacent building as well as special parking has been made available at the backside and hope that the parking issue may be resolved.
Always in the service of humanity with several outreach programme and more than 50 health camps done in various parts of state to cater to the needs and also as part of social corporate responsibility.
Host of members form medical fraternity, medical fraternity,, staffs and locals officers of the area were present on the occasion.

The chief guest also take part in medical camp being organsied by the hospital at the premise where several test were performed. Minister and his team also take part in fruit distribution to the inpatient of the hospital.
