Farewell to Saponti Hazarika on his retirement from Police service for more than 37 years

ITANAGAR, SEPT 1 : A Police officer Saponti Hazarika has been retired from his active service for more than 30 years in Police department in various places. He was given away farewell at a function at PHQ on Thursday.

Saponti Hazarika a commerce graduate from Assam joined APP as a Sub-Inspector in 1986 and retired on 31st August 2023 as Inspector and has served in various parts of state with a dedication and commitment. 

Having a clean service record with uncountable rewards and appreciation from superior for hid dedicated service toward the state and its people. He 

Sir has served the state for 30 years and 7 years in the CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) as an Investigating Officer in India’s Premier Investigating Police Agency.

His unwavering dedication to duty and commitment to service will be  remembered appreciated by the younger generation with regards to dedication, sincerity and commitment, honesty and full satisfaction of superiors. 

His tremendous service and sacrifices in ensuring achievements and his dedication towards duty for the State and the Country as a whole will boost the morale of other police officers and others in the commitment toward motherland. . 

A farewell function was held at PHQ where the IGP Chukhu Apa lauded his served rendered and was felicitated on the occasion by the officers and official of PHQ.
