FANS Arunachal Chapter Holds Executive Body Meeting at Itanagar

Itanagar, June 14: The Forum for Awareness of National Security (FANS) Arunachal Chapter convened its executive body meeting today at the Tsangpo Hotel. The meeting, attended by key members of the chapter, focused on various organizational matters and future initiatives.

Er. V. N. Pandey, the State Coordinator, provided an overview of FANS’ objectives and recent activities. He also discussed upcoming plans, including the opening of a joint bank account under the names of the President, Vice-President, and Treasurer. The Treasurer will take the lead in this initiative.

A significant decision was made regarding the chapter’s representation at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Bhopal. It was agreed that Er. V. N. Pandey (State Coordinator), Dr. Robin Hissang (Vice-President), Lori (Pama) Mugli (Convenor), and Rajeev Takuk, IAS (Advisor) would attend the event. Furthermore, the possibility of hosting the AGM in Arunachal Pradesh was explored, with plans to consult FANS headquarters in New Delhi.

The meeting also addressed the organization of a workshop on national security issues. The responsibility to devise a plan for this workshop was entrusted to Govt. Model College, Seppa and Dera Natung Government College, Itanagar.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Robin Hissang, Vice-President, FANS-Arunachal Chapter; Dr. Joram Aniya Tana, Secretary, FANS-Arunachal Chapter; Lori (Pama) Mugli, Convenor, FANS-Arunachal Chapter; Er. Harshandra Mishra, Member, FANS-Arunachal Chapter; Dr. Ratna Tayeng, Secretary, FANS-Arunachal Chapter; and Er. V. N. Pandey, State Coordinator, FANS-Arunachal Chapter.

FANS is a prominent think-tank organization focused on national security awareness. It conducts seminars, symposiums, and conferences to address internal and external security issues. Additionally, FANS raises awareness about environmental conservation, climate change, water conservation, women’s safety, and the eradication of social evils. Guided by Indresh Kumar, Varisht Pracharak and National Executive Council Member of RSS, FANS operates across 45 chapters nationwide, including the Arunachal Chapter.
