Itanagar, June 11: High-level sources within the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) have confirmed that the party’s central leadership has appointed senior leaders Ravi Shankar Prasad and Tarun Chugh, General Secretary, as observers to oversee the selection of the legislative party leader in Arunachal Pradesh.

Prasad and Chugh are expected to travel to Arunachal Pradesh shortly to convene a crucial meeting of the legislative party. This meeting aims to expedite the selection of a new leader, a matter of considerable interest to both party members and the public.

Following the Arunachal Pradesh assembly election results on June 2, there has been significant public concern regarding the formation of a new government.

Citizens have expressed their views on social media, emphasizing the need for a swift resolution.

After today’s decision by the BJP high-level leadership, the formation of a new government is likely within the next two to three days.

Authorities inspected the venue on Monday, and the DK Convention Center in Itanagar is likely to host the swearing-in ceremony of the new government.
