BJP Arunachal Pradesh Refutes AAP’s Allegations of Corruption, Unveils AAP’s Own Scandals

Itanagar, October 1: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Arunachal Pradesh unit held a press briefing at its headquarters in Itanagar today to address what it deemed “baseless allegations” made by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) against the government led by Chief Minister Pema Khandu. AAP spokesperson Sanjay Singh had leveled corruption charges during his recent visit to Arunachal Pradesh.

In a strongly worded press release, BJP Arunachal Pradesh spokesperson Shri Techi Necha responded to the allegations, stating that Sanjay Singh had failed to recognize the alleged corruption within his own party. Necha emphasized that the AAP had been embroiled in various controversies, including murder, extortion, scams, and tax evasion.

The press release highlighted several instances of alleged corruption within AAP, both in Delhi and Punjab, including the Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, Manish Sisodia, being implicated in the infamous liquor scam. It also mentioned AAP’s transformation from an anti-corruption movement to what the BJP described as “corrupt politics” across India.

BJP Arunachal Pradesh vehemently defended its stance, asserting that since coming to power, Chief Minister Pema Khandu’s government had maintained transparency, accountability, and a zero-tolerance approach to corruption. The party insisted that it consistently stood against corruption in various areas, including highway compensation, the Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board (APSSB), and the Arunachal Pradesh Public Civil Service Examination (APPCSE) paper leak case.

Furthermore, the press release alleged that AAP’s intentions were to “loot and plunder public money” under the guise of championing the common people. It accused AAP of attempting to undermine India’s economy through its “Freebies scheme” and labeled the corruption allegations against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Pema Khandu as “baseless and without truth.”

The BJP Arunachal Pradesh also listed numerous instances of alleged corruption within AAP, involving prominent members and ministers from the party, ranging from money laundering and bribery to tax evasion and extortion.

In conclusion, the BJP Arunachal Pradesh firmly rejected AAP’s allegations of corruption within its government, while simultaneously pointing fingers at what it alleged were multiple corruption scandals within AAP itself. This exchange of accusations marks another chapter in the ongoing political discourse between the two parties.
