APSCS&T team led by Secretary Repo Ronya and Director CD Mungyak participating 9th IISF from Jan 17-20 at Faridabad.

ITANAGAR, JAN 18 : Participating energetically, the Arunachal Pradesh State Council for Science and Technology took part in undergoing 9th India International Science Festival (IISF-2023) held at the DBT-THSTI RCB campus in Faridabad.

The festival aims to highlight a wide range of achievements in the field of science, technology and innovation by the country. 

Arunachal Pradesh state council for science and technology (APSCS&T ) and Centre of excellence, kimin under the aegis of APSCS&T highlighted their accomplishments and provided insights into the  ongoing  Research and development initiatives within the center. 

The program is being organized by the department of science and technology, ministry of earth sciences, council of scientific and industrial research, department of biotechnology, department of space and department of atomic energy.

This year the festival is being coordinated by the national innovation foundation-India (NIF) an autonomous institute of Department of science and technology (DST), GoI and  The event is being hosted in the state of Haryana at the combined campus of DBT-THSTI and DBT-RCB faridabad from 17th to 20th January 2024. 

As part of this festival in total, there are 17 events being organized.The objective of this event is to connect individuals with wonders of science. The theme of IIFS-2023 is “Science and technology driven Naav Bharat in Amrit kaal”.   It’s a platform for fostering interactions among students, scientists,innovators,citizens and startups.

Significant numbers of individuals from academias, schools , colleges,industry and the general public participated during the event.It’s an event where every department and organization comes together to demonstrate their strength and offering science & technology products and services developed over a period of time.
